Remove the leaves from a whole head of cauliflower and rinse it to remove sand and soil. Grease with vegetable oil and place on a baking sheet (or on baking paper). Bake for about 45 minutes at 220 degrees. It will turn black around the edges, that's okay.
Remove from the oven, cut into large pieces, sprinkle with grated cheese and salt (preferably coarse) and serve.
